This website presents a game in development. It offers no game downloads or purchases; you can create a free Shinvara account (see “Shinvara account”). Shown visuals, features and balance may evolve during development. No release date is announced.

Shinvara game terms (iPhone app)

1. Who we are and acceptance

Shinvara is a video game by Gioele Giacalone, an individual developer based in Switzerland ("we"). By playing, creating an account or making a purchase you accept these Terms and the Privacy notice. If you do not accept them you may not use the game. Apple's terms (the standard App Store licence agreement) also apply; for purchases, Apple's terms prevail in case of conflict.

2. Age

The game is suitable for everyone. Under 14 (or the age set in your country) an account and purchases require the consent of a parent, who is responsible for them.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the game for entertainment on devices you own or control. The game, code, art, characters, names, music and all content remain our exclusive property. You may not copy, modify, decompile, resell or use them commercially.

4. Virtual currencies and items

Coins, Green Shurikens, shards, rewards, characters, items and any other virtual content are a licence to use within the game, not property: they have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money, sold, traded or transferred outside the game. We may change their amounts, prices, odds, stats and effects to balance the game, with notice in the game when the change is significant. The odds of random rewards are always shown in the game.

5. Purchases and refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple. Digital content is delivered right after purchase: by requesting immediate delivery you waive the 14-day right of withdrawal where the law allows. Refunds are decided by Apple under its rules; if a purchase is refunded or reversed we may remove the content received or take the balance negative. Your rights remain if purchased content is not delivered or does not work.

6. Rules of conduct

You may not cheat; use hacks, bots, scripts, or modified software or devices that alter the game; exploit bugs instead of reporting them; tamper with saves or communication with the server; create multiple accounts to obtain rewards; buy or sell accounts or content outside the game; or use offensive names. In these cases we may, at our discretion, void rewards obtained irregularly, reset progress, and suspend or close the account without refund of virtual content obtained or bought through the violation.

7. Service, changes and closure

The game is provided "as is". We may update it, change or remove features, modes, events and content, and suspend it for maintenance; with at least 60 days' notice in the game we may close it permanently. We do not guarantee that it is always available, error-free or compatible with every device. On closure, virtual content is not refundable except where the law requires.

8. Advertising

The game may show third-party ads, including rewarded ads. We do not control ad content and are not responsible for third-party products or sites.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damage or for loss of data, profits or opportunities, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months, or CHF 50 if you spent nothing. This does not limit liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury or other cases where the law does not allow limits.

10. Account and deletion

Your account is personal: keep your credentials safe. You can delete it at any time from Settings > Account > Delete account; deletion permanently removes progress and content, without refund. We may delete guest accounts inactive for more than 24 months.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms. Important changes are shown in the game and, if you keep playing after seeing them, they are deemed accepted; if you do not accept them you can stop playing and delete your account.

12. Law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies; the competent court is that of the developer's domicile. If you are a consumer living in another country you keep the mandatory protections of that country's law and may also go to the courts where you live. EU online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Site rewards

Gifts on the Rewards page are virtual in-game items with no monetary value: they cannot be exchanged for money, transferred or refunded. No purchase is needed and you do not have to accept profiling cookies to receive them. The service is not active yet. Once it is, each gift can be claimed once a day per account and ad availability is not guaranteed. Gifts, amounts and limits may change, be paused or end, with notice on that page. Automated requests, scripts, multiple accounts or other abuse void the gifts. Ads are provided by Google and third parties: Shinvara does not control their content.

Shinvara account

If you are at least 14 years old you can create a free Shinvara account and sign in with an email and password. Sign-in with Google and with Apple is not active yet. The same account works for the site and the game. If you use Google or Apple, their terms also apply; Shinvara does not manage those accounts and is not responsible for their availability. You can link several methods to the same account; a method belongs to one account only and accounts are never merged automatically. The account is personal: keep your password safe and do not share it. The account service is in a test phase and is provided through PlayFab (Microsoft): it may be interrupted, suspended or changed. We may suspend or close accounts used for abuse, fraud or breaches of these Terms. You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time from your profile or by writing to support@shinvara.net, as described in the Privacy notice.

Shinvara is an original work by Gioele Giacalone: the game, its name, logo, characters, worlds, enemies, illustrations, animations, videos, music and sounds, texts, code and the content of this site. © 2026 Gioele Giacalone. All rights reserved.

Copying, reproducing, modifying, translating, distributing, publishing, selling or using the game or its content in any form, in whole or in part, including to create similar or derivative games, characters or works, is prohibited without the written permission of Gioele Giacalone.

Shinvara Studios is the creative name under which Gioele Giacalone presents the project; all rights remain personally his.

Third-party components are excluded and remain subject to their own terms.
